Hi, I’m Eric—a poet, writer, and creative explorer with a passion for storytelling and self-expression. As I navigate the world, exploring new places and experiences, I find inspiration in the complexities of life, mental health, and the human condition. Currently residing on the East Coast but a wanderer at heart, I’ve discovered that home is where the heart is—and my heart is always on the move.
Before diving fully into my creative pursuits, I spent over 40 years in the IT industry, with the last 20 running my own successful IT services firm. My team and I helped clients tackle everything from everyday tech support and cybersecurity challenges to web development and technical project management. We worked with individuals, families, and businesses, building solutions that made technology work for their unique needs. That journey taught me resilience, adaptability, and the importance of clear communication—skills that have deeply influenced my approach to writing.
As a writer, I’m drawn to the therapeutic power of words, using them to process emotions, share perspectives, and connect with others. My poetry often delves into themes of hope, resilience, and the human experience, weaving through various genres to create a unique narrative voice.
But writing isn’t just therapy for me; it’s also a way to tap into my playful side. I believe that laughter is indeed great medicine, and I love incorporating humor and whimsy into my work. Whether it’s a clever wordplay or an absurd scenario, I’m always on the lookout for ways to bring joy and levity to my writing.
