What happens when curiosity pulls you in too deep? A journey through a digital maze reveals more than just knowledge—it might just change everything.
Today’s word prompt was “rabbit_hole,” and what began as a simple question quickly turned into an exploration of something much deeper. It’s easy to get lost in the vast expanse of information available to us, but sometimes, the things we uncover aren’t just answers—they’re more questions. This piece captures that pull, the quiet but persistent tug that keeps us searching for more, even when we’re not sure where it’s leading.
The first click opens a door,
then another,
and another,
until the world dissolves
into endless scrolls.
There you are,
falling,
Alice without a teacup,
chasing crumbs that twist and fray—
half-truths, forgotten ghosts,
a galaxy of tabs blooming wild.
The rabbit_hole calls softly.
Not a place,
but a pull.
Gentle at first,
it whispers:
more.
And more,
so much more.
Time bleeds,
the clock ticks.
Hours bend into questions,
so many questions.
Falling feels like flying.
Until it doesn’t.
Life, itself, stirs—
a dish left unwashed,
the sun sinking outside a window.
When was the last time
you noticed your breath?
The rabbit_hole isn’t a place.
It’s a pull.
A weightless descent,
spinning into more,
and more…
an endless more.
